Needed, a loving song with lyrics from parent to child...?

From popular songs (in English) within the last 3 decades, I need a loving song from parent to child, or mother to child, or mother to son. The song needs to have a tender lyric which conveys how much the parent cherishes the child, with powerful, emotional, compelling music. Example: "Miracle," by Celine Dion. Please help. Thank you.

Needed, a loving song with lyrics from parent to child...?
Well, this song is legendary. Its more than 2 decades old though. Its 'Hey Jude' by the Beatles. Old is gold, after all. It was written by Paul McCartney for John Lennon'n son Julian to comfort him when John and Cynthia Lennon's divorce had become final. Well, here are the lyrics. Make up your mind.

Lyrics...

Hey Jude, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better

Remember to let her into your heart,

Then you can start to make it better.

Hey Jude, don't be afraid

You were made to go out and get her

The minute you let her under your skin,

Then you begin to make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain,

Don't carry the world upon your shoulders

For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool

By making his world a little colder

Hey Jude, don't let me down

You have found her, now go and get her

Remember to let her into your heart,

Then you can start to make it better

So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin

You're waiting for someone to perform with

And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do

The movement you need is on your shoulder

Hey Jude, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better

Remember to let her under your skin,

Then you'll begin to make it

Better better better better better better, (make it Jude) ooh

Na na na nananana, nananana, hey Jude... (Repeat X amount of times)

Yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Ju- Jude-y Jude-y Jude-y Jude-y Jude-y oow-wow

Oohoo my my my...

Jude Jude Jude Jude Joo...

Yeah yeah yeah

You know can make it so Jude, you're not gonna break it

Don't make it bad Jude

Take a sad song and make it better

Oh Jude, hey Jude, wooow

Ooo, Jude

Oo, oo, oo, oo

Oo, oo, oo-yeah

Now Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Reply:For Baby (For Bobbie) - Peter, Paul and Mary:

I'll walk in the rain by your side,

I'll cling to the warmth of your tiny hand.

I'll do anything to help you understand,

I'll love you more than anybody can.

And the wind will whisper your name to me,

Little birds will sing along in time,

The leaves will bow down when you walk by,

And morning bells will chime.

I'll be there when you're feeling down,

To kiss away the tears if you cry.

I'll share with you all the happiness I've found,

A reflection of the love in your eyes.

And I'll sing you the songs of the rainbow,

Whisper all the joy that is mine.

The leaves will bow down when you walk by,

And morning bells will chime.

{repeat verse 1}

The leaves will bow down when you walk by,

And morning bells will chime.

Walk away if you want to

It's ok, if you need to

Well, you can run, but you can never hide

From the shadow that's creeping up beside you

And, there's a magic running through your soul

But you can't have it all

Whatever you do I'll be two steps behind you

Wherever you go and I'll be there to remind you

That it only takes a minute of your precious time

To turn around and I'll be two steps behind

Take the time to think about it

Walk the line, you know you just can't fight it

Take a look around and see what you can find

Like the fire that's burning up inside me

And there's a magic running through your soul

But you can't have it all

Whatever you do I'll be two steps behind you

Wherever you go and I'll be there to remind you

That it only takes a minute of your precious time

To turn around and I'll be two steps behind

And there's a magic running through your soul

But you, you can't have it all

Whatever you do I'll be two steps behind you

Wherever you go and I'll be there to remind you

That it only takes a minute of your precious time

To turn around and I'll be two steps behind

Yeah baby, two steps behind

Oh sugar, two steps behind
